1. Oiling Regularly

Oiling your hair with natural oils and massaging the scalp should be practiced at least once a week. You can keep the oil for an hour or two before rinsing it off with lukewarm or cool water.
2. Egg Masks
Rich in sulphur, zinc, proteins and various other minerals, eggs are a great ingredient for hair growth. They also strengthen the hair from roots and reduce hair fall. You can add olive oil to egg white and apply the paste on your hair, from scalp to the tips. Keep it for half an hour before rinsing it off. Along with strengthening the hair strands, it even adds sheen to the tresses.
3. Beetroot Juice
Beetroot is rich in vitamins and minerals. A great source of hemoglobin, beetroot juice has numerous health benefits if taken directly. However, you can even make a hair mask with beetroots and apply it to your scalp for hair growth and strengthening the roots.
4. Fenugreek seeds
Fenugreek or methi is an ingredient easily available in the Indian kitchens. It is an effective home remedy which reduces hair fall to a great extent as it repairs hair follicles and regenerates hair. Grind a few fenugreek seeds after soaking them overnight in water. Apply the paste to your scalp and hair strands and leave the paste for about half an hour to an hour. Rinse it with lukewarm water. You can apply it once or twice a week to see better results.
5. Amla Juice
Another important ingredient which is an effective home remedy for hair is Amla. Rich in Vitamin C, consuming amla juice directly or applying it to the tresses will strengthen the hair follicles and help to control hair fall. Due to its exfoliating properties, amla will enable to cleanse the scalp naturally promoting hair growth too. Amla juice along with lime juice can be mixed together to form a paste, which can be applied to the scalp and hair. Keep it for an hour before rinsing it off.
