1. Eat right

2. Start early
It's never too early to enlist the help of a skin care regimen. So from the time you hit your teens, begin cleansing, moisturising and protecting your skin. Face wash, toner, moisturiser and sunscreen are more skin care staples than anything else and starting them young will shield and nourish your skin from an early age.
3. Sweat it out
Exercise doesn't only do wonders for your figure but your skin too! Getting your heart pumping encourages blood circulation and helps dispose toxins. That's why you find your face flushed and radiant post a workout. This ensures healthy skin functioning with a glow from within!
4. Sleep tight
Sleep may come second, next to a night on the town, but that isn't a good idea in the long run. "Lack of sleep constricts the blood vessels on your face. It looks dull, and lackluster. Sleep actually helps in collagen production. And you need loads of that for skin that's supple and elastic," confirms Dr. Rashmi Shetty in her book, Age Erase. No wonder they call it beauty sleep!
5. Give your skin a break

Especially if you use makeup daily, keep aside one day that's free from skin care and makeup. Your skin is like a sponge and it absorbs every layer of product you use on it swiftly. A time out from it frees the pores and skin cells, giving them a well-deserved break.
