Stepping out of the salon and flipping your freshly blown-out hair in the breeze is a wonderful feeling. But is it possible to replicate results that are similar at home? We think so. With the right products, tools and techniques, one can blow dry their hair at home to get silky, smooth tresses as if they've stepped out of a salon. Follow our hairstyling guide to find out how you can do that.
Step 1 - Start by spritzing the lengths of your damp or dry hair with L'Oreal Hot and Straight Protection Spray costing Rs 899 from Rs 1,250. It will shield the hair so that no damage is done when exposed to high temperatures of heat styling. Run your fingers through your hair to loosen it and get started.
Step 2 - Divide the hair into layers, from bottom to top. Turn on your Vega Pro-Touch VHDP - 02 Hair Dryer costing Rs 2,374 from Rs 2,599 and place the selected section of hair over the Minalo Ionic & Thermal Ceramic Hair Brush costing Rs 2,474 from Rs 3,072. Now hold the blowdryer in one hand and brush in the other to maneuver between both tools properly.
Step 3 - Dry on the hottest temperature by pointing its nozzle at the root and slowly move towards the end until dry. Continue until all sections are dried, from the bottom most layer till the top.
Step 4 - Once one stage of blowdrying is complete, apply a few drops of Streax Professional VitaRiche Hair Gloss Serum costing Rs 189 from Rs 210 over the hair lengths. Then loosely blowdry hair again on the coolest temperature so that the styling is set in place and serum is evenly absorbed.
Step 5 - When all the hair is dry, keep the Schwarzkopf Taft Shine Hair Lacquer costing Rs 310 from Rs 375 at an arm's distance from your head and spray over your hair to keep the styling in place for hours to come.Comments
