This winter, turn to these natural home remedies to stop hair dryness, dullness and damage in its tracks.
1. Egg, Olive Oil And Curd
In a shallow bowl, whisk together 1 egg, 3 tablespoons of chilled curd and 2 tablespoons of olive oil until they emulsify. Apply to your roots and lengths, leave it for an hour or two and wash off with water. Nourishing oil with creamy curd and nutritive egg will soften it greatly.
2. Curd, Honey And Lemon Juice
Mix together 4 tablespoons of curd with 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice in a glass bowl. Mix and apply thoroughly to the hair roots and lengths for an hour, then wash off. While curd and honey will moisturise the lengths, lemon will reduce grease and buildup.
3. Egg And Castor Oil
Whisk 1 egg until frothy and add in 3 tablespoons of castor oil to it. Mix again and apply swiftly to the hair. Allow it to sit for 1 and a half to 2 hours then wash it with water. 4. Banana, Milk And Egg
In a bowl, combine 1 overripe mashed banana with 4 tablespoons of warm milk and a whisked egg. Apply the mixture to your lengths and allow it to set for 45 minutes to an hour after which you can wash it off. Together these deeply nourishing ingredients condition the hair and tame frizz.
5. Curd And Aloe Vera
In a bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of aloe vera pulp with 3 tablespoons of curd. Massage into the hair lengths and roots, let it sit for 30 minutes and wash off with warm water. It will soften tresses and add shine.
