Right from the time Angelina Jolie made her on-screen presence felt, full lips have been coveted. Today, thanks to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Priyanka Chopra and Kylie Jenner, luscious lips have hit the heights of popularity and how. If drastic measures aren't the answer for you, the right makeup is what you need.
Method 1: Lip shading
Step 1 - Use a pinkish-nude shade of a lip liner to outline the shape of your lips completely. Then use the same liner to shade inwards from the edges slightly.
Step 2 - On the upper and lower lip, draw vertical lines along the creases of the lips. Do this in 3 - 4 places where the creases are most visible.
Step 3 - Using the same liner, fill in the complete area of the lips in that colour.
Step 4 - Use a matching lip gloss in a nude shade and apply it all over your lips.
Method 2: Lip highlighting
Step 1 - Use a light brown lip liner to outline the lips. Overdraw it from the natural lip line only slightly or else it will look unnatural.
Step 2 - Beneath the outline, take a bit of liquid concealer on your finger and dab it only on the very central area of your lips. Blend it in a bit so that it isn't too stark.
Step 3 - Now apply a matching neutral brown shade of creamy lipstick all over your lips on top of the concealer.
Step 4 - Set it in place with a final layer of clear lip gloss.
Method 3: Lip powdering
Step 1 - Over your bare lips, dust a thin layer of translucent powder and dust off the excess.
Step 2 - Using a bright red lip liner, outline the cupid's bow and the curve of the lower lip, slightly larger than the natural lip line. Then use this as a guide and join it towards the ends of both, the upper and lower lip.
Step 3 - Fill in your lips completely with the same lip liner and blot it with a tissue.
Step 4 - Finish the look by applying a matching lipstick in the same shade all over the lips.
That's all you need to do to get plump, full lips like a celebrity!
