Curly hair is a class apart and styling it too follows the same principle. While most can blow dry or flat iron their tresses when they step out of the shower, it's different for curly haired girls and boys. While their texture still needs to be maintained, frizz needs to be replaced by silky smoothness. That's why a diffuser is practically a magic wand for curly hair. It's perfect to dry hair while keeping curls intact and banishing frizz far, far away. So if you're wondering how to use a diffuser for curly hair, we've got everything that you need to know right here.

Step 1 - Once your hair is washed with shampoo and followed with conditioner, when you step out of the shower, gently wring your wet hair with a towel until it is damp. Ensure you do not open your curls or rub your hair forcefully.
Step 2 - Apply curl cream into your hair. This is as important step because the product acts as a preparatory step to smoothen frizz and help set curls for a longer period of time. Rake the cream through your strands using your fingers but don't rub it in or else it will open up your curls. While doing so, ensure there are no tangles in your hair. If you do find knots, run a wide-tooth comb through that hair section.

Step 3 - The final step before you diffuse your hair is protecting it from heat. Spritz on heat protectant over your lengths in order to prevent high temperature of the tools from damaging it as well as to help hair retain the style.
Step 4 - Switch on your diffuser. Now tilt your head forward for your length to be over your face. Place the diffuser where the heat is directed upwards. Allow it to style different sections of the hair and move it around until hair is mostly dry. For the final step, use the cool setting to set it in place.
Step 5 - Once your curls are dried and diffused, spritz hair spray all over your lengths to ensure curls stay in place for hours to come.
