On the occasion of her birthday last week, Kriti Sanon announced the launch of her skincare brand Hyphen. While we introduced you to the new celebrity range on the block at the time of its arrival, today we're delving more into the products which are co-founded by Ms. Sanon. Currently, Hyphen includes a collection of 4 products; namely - a sunscreen with SPF 50, a face serum for glowing skin and two barrier repair creams, each for oily and dry skin. The prices begin at Rs 449 and go up until Rs 649; a very affordable range for a celebrity name attached. The products include ingredients such as ceramides, peptides and alpha arbutin, all of which are relatively new additions in the Indian beauty space. Along with being 100% vegan-made, the products also promise a zero plastic footprint with a full ingredient list available for each product on the website. While the product line-up is a short one, it beats a collection that's filled with unnecessary additions that are available almost everywhere else. So far, so refreshing from this celebrity beauty brand brought to us by Kriti.
Kriti Sanon has always been a skincare aficianado of sorts and her occasional bareskin selfies and beauty videos have served as proof. Here she gave us a glimpse into how she goes about her night time skincare routine. Sanon begins her routine by double cleansing her skin. She first uses cleaning oil to remove the makeup. She does the final cleanse with a face wash. Next, she uses rose water. According to her, “damp skin absorbs products better.” She pours niacinamide toner into her palms and dabs it on her face. Next in line is the hydrating serum, which comes with peptides and hyaluronic acid. It is followed by a gentle retinol serum to rejuvenate the skin. Sanon then uses a moisturiser with ceramides, which makes up around 50 percent of our skin. Ceramides are vital for the optimal health and appearance of our face as well as our entire body. Just like collagen, its production in the skin reduces as we age. Lip care is also a part of her nighttime skin care. She applies lip balm with her fingers and uses the same to rub a little around the corners of the eyes. As per the actress, it's her own little trick to prevent crows feet. If you have any pimples, you can use a pimple patch just like Kriti Sanon. The actress finishes off by applying a mix of castor oil and olive oil on the eyelashes and brows.
After a long days of shooting on movie sets, Kriti also showed us how she cleans her skin doubly well. She follows the double cleanse routine to do so in order to really get in there and remove impurities.
