Some makeup products simply get more of the spotlight than others. Highlighters and lipsticks definitely fall in this category because of how high on the glam scale they lie. Under the shadows working tirelessly to make your face look fabulous are others that deserve to get their seat under the sun. Concealer is one such makeup product. It truly is a hard working makeup product that handles driving away dark circles to highlighting the skin. And when it comes in a form that lasts long, resists creases and looks natural? It deserves all the praise it can. Swirlster reviewed the L.A. Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer and here's what we think about it.
Packaging Of the Concealer
The concealer comes in a flexible plastic tube where the shade is clearly visible from the outside and includes a simple black screw-on cap. Inside, an applicator brush is attached to the head of the tube which needs to be pressed firmly for concealer to be dispensed from the centre of the brush to apply directly on the skin. It contains 8 gms of product and costs approximately Rs 700.
Feel Of The Concealer
The consistency of the concealer is quite thin but not runny. It can be blended extremely easily on the skin and doesn't need much of effort to settle into. It promises opaque coverage but depending on how much you use and how you've blended, it can set to a more sheer finish. The good news is it is very light on the skin and if layering up is needed to cover more visible marks, it does without feeling heavy on the skin. It resists creases greatly particularly in the under eye area and fares even better when set with transluscent powder. Just as it works spectacularly for dark circles, it fares just as well for blemishes and spots too. Even with all its properties, it manages to look very natural on the skin and not at all cakey.
