One thing that the Coronavirus lockdown changed completely is our beauty routines; especially how we remove body hair. Previously it might have involved a trip to the salon for an hour-long waxing session and brow threading. But times have changed and so has the way hair is removed. Through the years, I've tried my hand at most methods, some faring better than others. Time and again, one which never failed me has been shaving. Completely painless, devoid of messiness and not requiring pro-level beauty skills, razors to remove hair are cult favourite choice. So when Gilette Venus Snap hair remover was launched, experiencing it came naturally to me. Here's how it fared.
Packaging Of The Gilette Venus Snap Shaving Razor
The razor is encased in a transparent pink plastic case with cutout holes over the back. Inside is the small circular handle of the razor made of orange plastic with pink rubber. It also includes 3 cartridges of Gilette Venus Breeze heads which have a gel soap bar strip. The cartridges can be attached to the miniature handle and stored together in the case.
Usage And Feel Of The Shaving Razor
A single look at its make and construction will tell you how thoughtfully designed this razor kit is. The handle has a rubber grip which allows the fingers to hold it in place. Its short handle size can take a bit of getting used to when shaving. It allows for a pivoting motion and makes reaching corners and niches much easier to maneuver. Now coming to the razor heads; 3 of which are included here. Open them up and the floral scent hits you instantly. The gel bar and wear strips attached to the head ensure you don't even need additional foam to shave and help determine when to change it. Despite the back of the case having ventilation holes, I found that the soap bar can get sticky when stored for a longer period of time.
What Swirlster Says
Expect a quick and easy hair removal process with this razor. From its added gel bar to portable case to travel with, it makes shaving more swift and comfortable. However, avoid storing it with the cartridge for long periods to prevent it getting soggy.
