When Yami Gautam arrived at a recent awards function, she made sure all eyes were on her. For that, it's props to her merry band of makeup and hair artists. In a sparkling cocktail gown, Yami channelled the 80s and wore a bushy, blown-out ponytail along with shimmery black and gold eye makeup. So whether you are heading to a holiday party or a masquerade ball on NYE, this tutorial will help you nail Yami Gautam's makeup look.

Step 1 - Apply thick strokes of kajal like Maybelline's Colossal Kajal all over your eyelid. Being a dark eye makeup look, this will intensify the pigments used in it.
Step 2 - Dab matte brown eyeshadow like Bodyography's Expressions Eyeshadow in Truffle in the crease and blend it in with the kohl. Use the same brush to apply over the lower lash line too.
Step 3 - Dab matte black eyeshadow over the eyelid and along the lower lash line. Use a blending brush to blend it into the crease and join in a winged shape at the outer end of the eye.
Step 4 - Use a damp applicator brush to pack gold shadow like Oriflame's Colour Impact Cream Eyeshadow in Rose Gold on the centre of the eyelid, centre of the lower lash line and the inner corners too.
Step 5 - Use the same kohl to rim the upper and lower waterlines for sultry definition.
Step 6 - Curl the top and bottom eyelashes with an eyelash curler, then apply mascara like Natio's Lash Definition Mascara over them for added volume.
Step 7 - Dust any shadow fallout from your face and apply BB cream like Ren's Satin Perfection BB Cream all over the face and blend in for the natural finish.
Step 8 - Dust highlighter like Coloressence's Shimmer Highlighter over the forehead, chin, nose and cheeks to get Yami's sheen.
Step 9 - Apply lip gloss like Mememe's Light Me Up Lip Gloss in Lustre to finish the look with a peach pout.
To get Yami's bushy low ponytail, follow these steps.
Step 1 - Apply hair wax like Morgan's Styling Pomade from the hairline to the crown to give the hair a glossy look and part it in the centre till the end of the crown.
Step 2 - Gather the length of the hair from the crown backwards and tie it into low ponytail at the nape.
Step 3 - Divide the ponytail into large sections and backcomb each section to give it that bushy appearance.
Step 4 - Post backcombing, place each section in a crimping iron like Corioliss' Hair Crimper to give it those fine waves. Do this for each section until all have been crimped.
Now get out there and flaunt your Yami Gautam inspired sparkly eyes and bushy ponytail.
