Napoli By Shatranj's New Menu Is Italian Wholesomeness In Every Bite
I'd like to think of Napoli by Shatranj as a hidden gem in the quick-culinary environment of Mumbai. Almost as if in a secret location in the quiet lanes of Bandra, the restaurant launched its new menu this summer which brought wholesome Italian delights to every bite. Their Pepperoni Flatbread, a take on a pizza, was delightfully authentic and packed an umami punch. Their succulent-as-ever tenderloin steak however; simply served with vegetables and mash, was the star of the show. The new menu features a creamy Burrata, simply drizzled with oil and basil, Salmon Flatbread that features accents of dill and cream cheese and a Herb Crusted Halloumi for the vegetarians. If you can't miss pasta at an Italian spot, then pick from the Truffle Pasta or the Pulled Lamb Pappardelle. Their reinterpretation of Italian fare continued through the cocktail menu with the Melodia Di Caffe, which merged Vodka and Espresso while being topped with a ladyfinger, akin to Tiramisu in a glass. Finish your meal on a sweet note with none than an actual boozy slice of classic tiramisu. The light wood and metal designed restaurant is packed with loyalists who fancy a kitty party or a quiet date night because the space is made for all kinds of diners. To them all, the promise of a good evening, with authentic Italian cuisine, contemporary cocktails and delicious desserts, is crystal clear at Napoli.
Napoli by Shatranj is located off Carter Road in Bandra and is open daily for dinner and for lunch, from Wednesdays to Sundays.

Momo Cafe's Diverse Fare Is Made For The Casual Gourmand
You'd think that a fancy hotel restaurant would be stiff and stuffy to eat at but not when you're at Momo Café. While Asian fare features in part across the menu, Indian fare takes precedence. From Tawa Machli's marinated fish to street food like Pav Bhaji to tender Rogan Josh, one can dive into deliciously spiced Indian food in the delightful atmosphere at the hotel it is located in. While Momo Cafe has its staple menu, it often does themed events as well. Their recent Sri Lankan food festival brought the island nation's famous dishes like Hoppers, Hikka Style Squid Curry and Tempered Chickpea to Mumbai's shores. The Sri Lankan flavours also extended to their range of cocktails and was complete with traditional desserts like Wattalappam and Dodal. Curated by renowned international chef Chanaka Denuwan, it was bound to be a success. Whether it's a food festival or their daily staples, tucking in for a bite here can only be a good idea.
MoMo Cafe is located at the The Courtyard by Marriott, Mumbai International Airport and is open daily for lunch and dinner.
Rocket Man Pizza's SlowCheeta Collaborations Combines New York Pizza And Indian Hip-Hop
A pizza company and an Indian hip-hop artist don't often come together for a collaboration but Rocket Man Pizza and SlowCheeta decided to walk the path less taken. It has led to the limited-edition Kar De Kaa? Menu which merges the delivery kitchen's New York-style pizza with bold flavours, just like SlowCheeta's music tends to pack on. For vegetarians, there's the Butter Paneer Pizza that has a feta drizzle and grilled lacha onions as well as a Tandoori Achari Mushroom Pizza with masala corn cream. For those who'd prefer non-vegetarian fare, there is the 3 Peppercorn Chicken Tikka Pizza that is finished with a drizzle of truffle oil and the Bombay Style Mutton Kheema Pizza which comes with Mint Chilli over it. The pies also have delightful names like 90's ke Ladke and Bawaal. One thing is certain, this is pizza like you've never quite experienced it before.
Rocket Man Pizza's Kar De Kaa? menu is available for delivery in select areas of Mumbai.
