But a guy who is keen on you would want to know your thoughts, your feelings about things. He would want to get to know you and your life. It's as simple as him trying to get to know where this can go.
He reaches out, takes initiative to talk and meet
This is clearly a sign that the person wants to spend more time with you and speaking to you. That is a major sign that they are willing to devote more time of their life with you in it. You are not the only one in this, if the guy is also making the efforts he's clearly in it too.
He makes you a part of his life and plans
If he shares with you his day stories and what happened all throughout, his short term goals, and the long term ones then he sure seems like someone who wants you to know where he's coming from and going. And if he is actively making efforts to include you in his life and be a part of yours, that's a good sign.
