The fashion world is a tricky place so we could say that nailing a look is akin to walking a tight rope; you can make it to the other side successfully or it can end in disaster. As much as everyone is allowed to wear whatever they like, it doesn't always always mean that it will look good on them and that's just a fact. Case in point is Alia Bhatt in her latest look. The Bollywood actress was snapped in the city post a shoot last night and wore an outfit in shades of pink and white.

Alia picked a candy floss pink pantsuit that consisted of an oversized blazer which reached below her hips while she cuffed up her long sleeves. She opted for matching trousers in pink with a wide fit. Underneath the blazer, she wore a white bralette and completed the outfit with her signature pair of gold hoops and sandals.

Power dressing is practically a Bollywood celebrity fashion staple at this point but not everyone can do justice to it. Take Alia Bhatt for instance. The Bollywood actress is petite in height and has a tiny stature so although she wore her pantsuit with the best intentions, it didn't exactly turn out that way. With the baggy trousers and floaty blazer, the oversized silhouette of Alia's pantsuit overwhelmed her small frame. So instead of looking powerful and confident, it appeared a little less than. It just goes to show that every pantsuit isn't equal. What looks fantastic on someone tall, might not appear the same on someone tinier. In Alia's case, if she opted for a slim tailored fit rather than the exaggeratedly oversized one she picked, we think the end result could have been a whole different one.
