Alia Bhatt has clearly been giving a stylish makeover to her wardrobe lately. This season she has not only been impressing us with her trendy range of summer dresses, but also Indian ethnic wear. Thanks to Alia's latest film Raazi that we are getting to see the Bollywood actress spruce up her desi look like never before. From sporting floral prints to pastel hues, breezy palazzos to delicate cotton, Alia is setting major style goals for the season and making us all believe that we can have as much fun with traditional Indian wear as she is.
Be it a grand shaadi function or everyday style, desi wear is definitely becoming a favourite pick to beat the heat yet stay glamorous. Alia's recent look is a proof of that. For the most happening wedding reception of the month - Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja - Alia turned up looking like a breath of fresh air in a neon green lehenga designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Whoever said summer weddings were a nightmare!
Made with silk and organza, the outfit had delicate, hand-embroidered floral motifs in silver thread, which the Raazi actress complemented with a statement choker and maang tika from the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery collection.
Earlier this month, during one of the promotional events for Raazi, she had worn a stunning floral printed suit by the same designer. The white printed, cotton kurta-pajama had antique tilla borders from traditional Kashmiri shawls, and was teamed with a chanderi dupatta to complete the look.
Alia had kickstarted the season wearing a faded blue, cotton Anarkali suit with matching dupatta by designer Anita Dongre. It had floral block prints, and she had accessorised it with chunky silver earrings.
She also worked her charm in a floral textured, baby pink suit from Raw Mango, showing us that even simple styles make for a stylish look during summers. You can always spruce it up with statement earrings, as Alia does with silver metallic earrings.

Yellow is a summer favourite, and Alia showed us how to wear the right shade of the sunshine colour in this Nikasha Anarkali suit. The dotted print and the sheen dupatta further added to her look.
Then she worked her evening look in this powder blue Manish Malhotra kalidar suit with intricate gold threadwork.
