When it comes to ethnic style, our fashion diary mentions Parineeti Chopra's name in bold and capital letters. Since her engagement ceremony, Parineeti's picks have truly been a lesson in understated styling. From embracing pastels like never before to her love for tone-on-tone, Parineeti's style mood board screams aesthetics from miles away. But when she tries her hand at heavy-duty (of sorts), Parineeti rests her faith in bling. Just like in this shimmering-style story affair crafted by none other than Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna. The actress wore sedilia trousers with a matching blouse. Parineeti styled it all with an equally sparkling floor-length tulle shrug. The beige-hued three-piece set featured heavy sequin work. It also featured a bralette-style blouse with a straight plunging neckline, supported by its slinky noodle strings. High waist sharara style trousers came with flowy hem. The oh-so-shimmery outfit was completed with a choker-style kundan set and matching studs and bangles. Kohl-rimmed smokey eyes with coral glossy lips sealed the look to perfection.
A few days ago, Parineeti Chopra dropped another set of pictures from one of her pre-wedding ceremonies. Once again she ruled our hearts with the gorgeous fusion of pastel and ethnic. She wore a muted rose pink sharara set with dainty embellishments. Coming from the shelves of A&R by Rhea Kapoor, the silk sharara set featured a kurta adorned with ivory pearl, sequin and cut dana embroidery with booties. Her flowy sharara on the other hand has a criss-cross pattern with ivory cutdana and sequin work. A sheer organza dupatta with sequin work rounded off her look elegantly.
For her first Karwa Chauth, Parineeti picked a bright red short Anarkali set designed by Mrunalini Rao. It featured a knee-length silk kurta highlighting exquisite zardozi hand embroidery on the neckline, shoulders, hemline, and sleeves. The quarter-sleeved kurta was paired with palazzo-style pants that came with matching embroidery. Yet again, an organza dupatta perfectly completed her look.
During her warm welcome celebration as the daughter-in-law at the Chadha residence, Parineeti looked ethereal in a striking neon green kurta set. She left her voluminous curls loosened. With minimal jewellery, she embodied simple yet stunning elegance.
Parineeti Chopra loves pastels and these outfits prove it through and through.
