Amazon Fashion Week is used to seeing a lot of famous personalities walking through. But it is not all celebs and fashion personalities because on the third day of Amazon Fashion Week, happening right now, Textiles Minister Smriti Irani came for a show.
Accompanied by Sunil Sethi FDCI President, Smriti was seen wearing a blue black saree with warli tribal motifs on it, earthy and how.
Smriti Irani watched Madhu Jain, and Sonam Dubal's show which featured a lot of Indian prints, fabrics and a vintage touch to it all. So we aren't really surprised that Irani, who is a big supporter of Indian art and fabrics, was here. The collections were a reflection of Indian handicraft , with a lot of block printing, woven textiles, and beadwork.
Not just that, our Textiles Minister was also seen checking out Indie Eye's eyewear - a brand by Sunil Sethi, Jayanta Roy, and Tanira Sethi. The eyewear is individualistic and the avant garde designs aims to redefine the Indian euewear scene. And we are sure it will, what with the chic and quirky designs.
We love us a fashion savvy Textiles Minister, now don't we?
