Armaan Jain and his wife Anissa Malhotra Jain are soon-to-be parents. Their Godh Bharai (baby shower) ceremony, attended by their close friends and family, was held on Sunday. Several pictures and videos from the event have gone viral on social media. However, our eyes were glued to Anissa's stunning royal blue saree, which was an ode to her Parsi heritage. For the Agarni or the Godh Bharai ceremony, a Parsi ritual celebrating a woman on the brink of motherhood, Anissa wore a traditional Gara saree which showcased gota work in leafy designs along with a wide patti border. She teamed it with a short-sleeve blouse. Complementing the round neckline, Anissa added a diamond necklace, studded with blue stones, and a matching pair of earrings. Her soft glow makeup and open tresses sat well with the traditional fit.
Anissa Malhotra wowed us with her traditional wardrobe at Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani's lavish, intimate wedding held at Jaisalmer's Suryagarh Palace. She rivalled the golden hour with her vibrant yellow lehenga by Faabiiana. While the lehenga skirt and dupatta were heavily laced with intricate zari work, the golden half-sleeve embroidered blouse was surely a statement. Anissa accessorised her traditional fit with layered green-stone chains, matching earrings, and gold bangles. Her tresses, adorned with floral hair accessories, were styled in soft curls. She also carried an embellished potli bag.
For one of the festivities, Anissa channelled her “ivory dreams” in a gorgeous sharara set from Lashkaraa. The full-sleeve blouse featured a short v-neckline and sequin detailing. The chikankari work on the sharara and dupatta elevated the outfit by multiple folds. Gold accessories including a choker-style necklace, earrings and bracelets rounded off her look. Looks like a blingy potli bag is a regular sighting in Anissa's ethnic outings. The fashion stylist added pizazz to her look with black sunglasses and bold red lips.
At Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani's sangeet ceremony, Anissa Malhotra proved to be a “royal” affair. Once again, she turned to Faabiiana and opted for a three-piece royal blue creation. The heavily embroidered blouse was balanced out with the lehenga skirt, which came with golden stripes. Her dupatta was adorned with golden and silver sequins. Statement jewellery and subtle glam with pink lips and bold eyeliner worked well for the stylist.
Anissa Malhotra looked nothing less than a “disco” ball in her purple gold lampi lehenga and blouse from clothing brand Itrh. She styled the lehenga set with a purple silk organza dupatta, featuring a gota patti border. Dewy skin and soft pink lips along with sleek straightened hair brought more gravitas to her look.
Armaan Jain and Anissa Malhotra Jain tied the knot in 2020, after dating for over 11 years and are expecting their first child together.
