Alia Bhatt made the Hope Gala 2024 in London a fashionable affair indeed in not one, but two fashionable ensembles. While her vintage ivory Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla saree, which was tailored back in 1994, made headlines for its intricate, vintage charm, the actress also switched the ethnic look into a more contemporary number. Alia picked a rich burgundy coloured velvet gown by Gucci, which she is a global brand ambassador for. It featured a square neckline with narrow that led to a straight fit around the length, leading to a flared hemline. Sparkling crystals dotted the neckline and matched an empire-waist detail banded around the torso. Her hair was centre-parted and turned outward into curls with peach blush sweeping across her cheeks.

While Alia's dress was a fairly simple style selection, it was her jewellery that got everyone talking. She wore a fitted necklace which featured geometric cut diamonds encircling sapphires with tricking beneath. The centre of the necklace was set with a large dark blue sapphire in the centre. Alia matched it with a large ring featuring the same shade of stones. Her necklace is reported to cost approximately Rs 20 crores, according to DNA.
Called the Sapphire Lace Necklace, the Bulgari piece belongs to the label's 2020 Barocko collection. As per the official website, the necklace features almost 400 diamonds and a 28.11 carat sapphire set on a base of white gold.
Alia Bhatt certainly raised the bling quotient with this jewellery choice of hers.
