The year that was, was all about sustainability and comfortable silhouettes that had a repeat value and could be mixed and matched too - everything that Payal Singhal showcased on the ramp. Athiya Shetty played her gorgeous muse for the show and was seen in a floral number. She gave her usual lehengas an athleisure twist by throwing in a bomber jacket in matching floral motifs for that perfect spring wedding lehenga. Payal Singhal brought some serious flower power back to the fashion game and her fashion show best exemplified it. Speaking of sustainability, the fabrics used were all made from used PET bottles. Athiya Shetty's look was completed with spring perfect blush hued makeup and large pearl hoop earrings.

This is not the first time Athiya Shetty stood for sustainable fashion. For Aisha Rao's show in Lakme Fashion Week 2020, Athiya Shetty's colourful lehenga made a stylish wave. What was most unique were the components used to make the outfits from the designer's collection. She used sock waste as actual fabric to create stunning wedding-worthy outfits that nobody would have ever guessed!
For Arpita Mehta's 10 year anniversary in the industry, the designer introduced a coffee table book titled The Mirror, showcasing a multi-star line up of muses who played a huge role in the designer's life. Athiya Shetty was one of them and she surely looked ethereal. Dressed in a fusion long coat with heavy embroidery and the designer's signature shell and mirror work, her look was a winner.
