Looks like Bollywood's love for stripes is real and undying. And not just any stripes, candy cane stripes. The red and white stripes are no more just a Christmas look, as they have permeated into everyday celebrity fashion, and how. After Kajol showcased her love for them with a throwback picture, and Deepika Padukone wore that Sabyasachi saree with the same stripes, now Sonam Kapoor sported red and white stripes in all their glory, and not just anywhere, but at Cannes Film Festival.
Vibing the summer vibes and keeping it chic, Sonam Kapoor wore an Emilia Wickstead red and white striped dress and we loved it! It was easy, breezy, funky, and also made us want to run off to a candy store right away. This was Sonam's fourth look for Cannes and she nailed it, keeping her sartorial streak on point.
She kept her look simple by pairing the dress will pearl studs and big round Bottega Veneta shades. The shirt dress boasted of an embellished pointed collar and was belted at the waist.
This is the second time Sonam has wore a classic print at Cannes. She also wore a 'Mother of Pearl' polka dot dress on day one and that was as modish a look as this one.
