Menswear on the red carpet can be kind of...well, unsurprising. You are almost assured that the dazzling stars will look expectedly dapper in their suave suits in tones of black, blue and white. What you wouldn't expect to see would be a top-to-toe metallic ensemble with accents of white waltzing down the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival 2021. But that is exactly what Timothee Chalamet made happen. A talented actor and fashion star who is adored across generations, Timothee has shown that all he needs to shine is a red carpet. He attended the movie premiere of his upcoming film The French Dispatch by Wes Anderson along with his co-stars Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton and Adrien Brody among others. The actor strode down the Cannes red carpet wearing a silver and gold hued Tom Ford suit. The straight fitted style showcased his lean physique and with his blazer was a crisp white shirt buttoned high at the neck.

We know for a fact that the man loves his accessories. Remember his beaded Louis Vuitton black harness or Cartier brooch on his sporty Prada suit? Cannes couldn't be left out, now could it? He paired his sheen-heavy suit with a pair of sleek white cowboy boots, a silver bracelet and silver rings which blended with the cool tones of the outfit.
