The trend of loose-fitted jeans indicates a fondness of a more casual style, which is comfortable while also having a long shelf life.

High-waist flared denims and boot cuts though are still very much in vogue. Slouched jeans are another entrant to Gen Z's love for the new age denims. Gen Z is not wrong to point out why this revolutionary piece of clothing keeps evolving over the years to changing times and why we need to shift our likings too.
If there is one good that has come of this pandemic, then it has got to be a sustainable fashion model that is more casual and comfortable where one jeans fit all (body, shapes, occasions - you name it!).
