It's not bikinis and bell bottoms anymore on Disha Patani's mind. The shift to classic ethnic silhouettes may have been a gradual one but it sure wasn't our plan to turn to this side of her with equal conviction. But then again, we did and we're glad there's more to this Bollywood fashionista beyond her cool casuals. At a celebration recently, Disha Patani took to the stage and it was not in her usuals but instead in a Mastani-inspired sharara suit. The sheer anarkali kurta with a heavily embellished sharara makes her vibes, dance moves and the entirety of the gathering fully royal with an added touch of her jewellery regalia. We could easily get used to this side of Disha Patani.

It may be a recent feat but seeing her on the cover of the recent edition of Elle only further solidifies Disha Patani's ethnic side. This time, she wowed us in back-to-back ethnic fits. Her first look was plucked straight from the shelves of designer Hussain Rehar. It comprised a pastel yellow resplendent shirt featuring intricate floral embroidery woven with distinct geometric patterns. The summery silhouette came with an interesting contrast of green borders adding some springy freshness to the heavily-embellished sleeves. Pink tassels at the cuffs delivered a phenomenal vibe to the statement piece. Disha styled the traditional staple with a matching printed chiffon dupatta, doused with more flower patterns and scalloped tassel-adorned borders. The actress slipped into a pair of ivory trousers with metallic gold borders, elevating her royal charm. Golden studs shining through her wavy open tresses offered the finishing touches of elegance.
Disha Patani's second look from the shoot was another Hussain Rehar masterpiece. The black unstitched luxury lawn scalloped shirt with flowy sleeves got its oomph from the complex floral adornments. The sequinned red flower embellishments were exquisitely arranged with unique tribal elements, delivering a modern take on the traditional garment. Crystal features at the shirt's hem enhanced the outfit's regal factor. Meanwhile, a matching organza dupatta, featuring burning orange borders, delicate embroidery spray, and an asymmetrical flower fusion across the edges were the stand-out factor of the gorgeous number. A tassel-laden black flared skirt rounded off Disha's queen-like avatar.

Look who's dishing out Barbiecore energy with an ethnic twist. It's Disha Patani of course. Turning another page from her Elle magazine photoshoot diaries, we found the actress slipping into a magenta-pink luxury lawn monotone gradient attire crafted with perfection by Hussain Rehar. While the A-line fit served a contemporary touch, the sheer golden embroidery was an art to marvel at. The flowy tasselled cape and hem elevated her allure. Disha teamed the pretty ensemble with an equally gorgeous dupatta. Golden hoops and glammed-up makeup framed her face beautifully.
Disha Patani's cover story features are high on fashion with a mark of queenly allure.
