The ninth and the final day of the 9-day long Navratri festival, came to an end yesterday. The concluding day was a grand affair as the garba dancers went all out and made the most of the last day. The city witnessed garba spirit in the hour-long dances, Durga Maa pandals, stunning ethnic outfits and Navratri delicacies. Bollywood celebrities were in no way left behind from the festivities. They too celebrated the festival in their own way, making stylish appearances. Sonakshi Sinha, Diana Penty and more celebrities gave us garba dressing inspiration as they dolled up in ethnic outfits for Navratri.
Sonakshi Sinha looked mersmerising in a deep red lehenga choli set from designer label Arpita Mehta. The ethnic ensemble consisted of a strappy blouse with mirror work detailing, embroidery and featured a plunging neckline. The actor wore a flared lehenga skirt with the choli. She carried a stunning long cape in a similar pattern and colour palette with the outfit. The mirror work sparkled and added glamour to the outfit. For accessories, Sonakshi wore a studded choker necklace and opted for minimal glam makeup with winged eyeliner, highlighted heels and matte lip colour. Her round red bindi added a traditional touch to her Indo-Western outfit.
Diana Penty was 'garba ready' in a gorgeous lehenga choli from designer Anita Dongre. The lehenga skirt had a beautiful flare and delicate floral print on the base of green. She teamed it with an embellished crop top having delicate beadwork in silver on a base of deep red. The choli featured strappy sleeves and a plunging neckline. Diana carried off a three-quarter sleeved short jacket with the choli which too had similar beadwork and embroidery in white and green on a red base. Tying her mane in a messy ponytail, Diana opted for glamorous makeup with shimmer on the eyelids, well-contoured cheeks and glossy lip colour. For accessories she picked a necklace from Anita Dongre's label.
Madhuri Dixit too looked striking as she recently dazzled in a gorgeous lehenga choli from label Anushree. The bright green outfit featured floral motifs, embroidery work in different shades and sequined embellishments. The actor teamed it with a short-sleeved choli in similar beadwork and colour palette. Madhuri carried a printed orange and green dupatta showcasing motifs and tassels with her ethnic ensemble. Tying her mane in a messy ponytail, the actor opted for minimal glam makeup and chose dangling earrings and bangles as the accessories.
Barkha Singh looked chic, cheerful and vibrant in a beautiful purple lehenga skirt. The flared skirt had multicoloured geometric prints in red, yellow, orange on the base of purple. She teamed the skirt with a crop top featuring power sleeves and a plunging neckline. She accessorised the look with a pair of golden hoop earrings and opted for minimal matte makeup
