This Barbie is turning heads with her daring sense of style. The Barbie movie is set to feature multiple dolls but it is Dua Lipa that we're referring to here. The artist, who stars in the film as Mermaid Barbie and has contributed to the soundtrack, walked the pink carpet for the world premiere of the movie held in Los Angeles. While most stars chose the signature candy floss palette, Dua did things a whole lot differently and took the risque route. Lipa wore a silver sleeveless ankle-length gown that was made entirely of silver chainmail, which allowed for a bit of peek-a-boo beneath. The glistening fabric glimmered under the Californian sun, lending a touch of dazzle to the ensemble.

While Dua skipped the bra, her high waist thong worn beneath was crystal studded too. While she parted her brunette locks in the centre and paired her look with a pink Barbie-esque manicure, the songstress opted for a minimally shimmering necklace and dangling earrings to round off the ensemble without going overboard with the shine.

Dua is definitely feeling the Barbie vibes and it's showing in her personal style too. Another recent set of photos from the star saw her sport a crushed velvet dress in a frothy pink shade. Braided pink thigh high boots and a silver braided designer handbag were enough for her to caption the pictures as, "come on barbie let's go party".
There's no stopping this Barbie when it comes to pulling off jaw-dropping style.
