Recently, Disha Patani was on a shoot in Varanasi and was seen sightseeing in her free time. A video of the actress went viral on social media where she is seen performing a religious ritual. Disha is captured wearing black jeans and a crop top with a bag slung across the front. Along with a black face mask, Disha also wore a shawl modestly covering her shoulders. She was surrounded by pandits and devotees as she performed the aarti.

Disha's fans were impressed by the fact that she covered her bare shoulders while performing the religious ritual in the sacred place. However not all felt the same way. Comments from netizens range from how differently she dresses generally to whether she should have changed from a crop top before she head there. Numerous comments came attached to the viral photos with a few making a fuss about her attire while others supported her thoughtfulness. Even though she initially wore a crop top, we think it was respectful of her to cover herself with a shawl and turn out looking modest. The actress was shooting for a project with dancer-choreographer Suresh Mukund and had been exploring Varanasi. Varanasi, on the banks of the Ganges, is known for its ancient temples, and local food.
