The autumn season in India is coming to an end and the winters have officially begun. This season also happens to collide with the Indian festive season, where we celebrate everything from Ganesh Chaturthi to Christmas with a lot of gusto and excitement. The colour palette of the festive season will always have the classics but the 'it' colour of the season was certainly bright lime. We saw many Bollywood actors from Anushka Sharma to even telly stars like Avneet Kaur, wearing beautiful lime ethnic outfits and we are simply crushing on the trend. Let us have a look at how the colour looked gorgeous on the divas.
Anushka Sharma's Diwali 2022 was celebrated in a bright lime embellished Sabyasachi saree. The sheer saree had sparkly sequined detailing all over with ruffle detailing at the borders. She teamed it with a sequined strappy blouse with added sparkle and glitter to her ensemble.
Janhvi Kapoor proved that you do not need sequins and sparkles every time for festivities, bright neons and floral prints are equally festive by wearing some gorgeous lime breezy drape for Bhai Dooj and the promotions of her upcoming film, Mili.
Rakul Preet Singh's embellished sharara set was in no way behind the festive dressing game. The stunning outfit featured a strappy spaghetti sleeved short kurti, a sharara bottom, and a dupatta. The strappy kurti came with golden gotta work all over and a scoop neckline. She wore statement earrings with the outfit.
Sayani Gupta also embraced the lime trend flawlessly as she wore an embellished lehenga with white flowers on the base of lime. She teamed it with a matching sleeveless blouse with a plunging neckline and carried a breezy dupatta with the outfit.
Did you miss Pooja Hegde's lime lehenga of the season? The flared lehenga skirt had sheer lace details as the actor teamed it with a strappy spaghetti blouse which featured a plunging neckline, keeping it simple yet elegant.
Avneet Kaur also opted for a bright lime lehenga and got her fans bowled over. She paired a lime coloured flared lehenga skirt with white embroidery and mirror work with a strappy, backless blouse in the same colour palette and carried a net dupatta with the outfit.
Bhavana Panday too followed the lime colour palette by opting for a gorgeous green sharara set from the clothing brand Gopi Vaid designs for Dussehra this year. The embroidered full sleeved kurta and sharara bottom with silver patti work looked simply stunning.
We are surely bookmarking these looks of the lime trend.Comments
