The 10-day-long harvest festival began on August 20. It is marked by elaborate Onam Sadhya, flower rangoli and various cultural activities. But what any festival would be incomplete without is the ethnic ensembles. Malayalis celebrate the festival wearing Mundum neriyathum and kasavu mundu. Legendary actor Mohanlal wore a silk ivory kurta with a matching mundu. The kurta featured a mock neckline and button detailing on the centre with full sleeves. His mundu highlighted subtle kasavu detailing in the centre. He completed his look with a bracelet and rings.
Veteran star Mammootty was seen carrying a semi-traditional look. The Malayalam superstar wore an ivory-hued shirt with mundu, carrying striped detailing.
Mammootty's son Dulquer Salmaan looked dapper in a silk kurta. The outfit featured a mock neckline and front button detailing. Suttle prints made it a perfect pick for the occasion. The actor completed his look with a clean beard and moustache that he paired with his puffy front hairstyle.
KGF star Yash was seen carrying a completely traditional look. The actor dropped a red and golden border settu mundu and covered his upper body with silk mundu, featuring golden and red kasavu.
Prithviraj Sukumaran wore a regular-fitted baby pink shirt atop ivory mundu, highlighting golden kasavu. The actor carried a clean shaved look with side-parted hair.
