In a rather festive coincidence, Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor ended up unknowingly twinning in the same colour for Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations yesterday. There's no doubt that both Kareena and Karisma have mastered the art of always looking stylish and carrying any outfit they wear with aplomb. When it comes to dressing up in Indian-wear during festivals, even more so. Kareena and Karisma look fabulous in almost everything they wear, but there's something that makes these Kapoor sisters stand out even more when they decide to dress up in traditional clothes from some of their favorite Indian designers - and not to miss, end up wearing the same colour, accidentally.
Yesterday, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, both Kareena and Karisma decided to don ensembles that were a rather vibrant shade of yellow. Albeit neither of the sisters knew what the other would be wearing, they both chose to wear the colour yellow. Well, that's the thing about sisters, we suppose - they'll always have these little things in common.

Much like most other Bollywood celebrities, Kareena and Karisma headed to the Ambani residence in Mumbai last evening to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi. The sisters pulled out their sartorial best for the festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Ganesha.
Karisma Kapoor's desi style is always on point, and last evening was no exception. Karisma chose to wear a bright and coruscating yellow ensemble from designer Manish Malhotra. Her yellow outfit featured a kurta with white thread work all over and a pair of cigarette pants and dupatta with similar embroidery just around the borders. She opted for a pair of dangling earrings from TBZ and a pair of juttis to complete her outfit.
Kareena Kapoor looked resplendent in a yellow and pink outfit from Raw Mango. Her outfit featured a Varanasi silk sharara set with complete gold brocade work all over and a bright rani pink dupatta with spread out gold brocade work. Kareena paired her outfit with earrings from Amrapali jewels and pair of gold juttis from Fizzy Goblet. She completed her look with a handcrafted potli bag from The Pink Potli.
