Glitter Shoes - Biggest Shoe Trend In 2017?

The trend for minimalism is always ongoing but 2017 has been all about maximalism. It's either go big or go home! And that's where this shoe trend comes into play. When was the last time we women wore glitter shoes? When we were 6?

Well, we have a feeling you're going to be wearing this trend this fall/winter. Never thought you would be caught wearing glitter shoes ever, right?

Boots covered in glitter and sparkle were one of Fall 2017's biggest shoe trends on the runway in the West. From Saint Laurent's glitter slouch boot to Chanel's knee-high boot with a patent cap toe, this trend is already showing up in stores and on the feet of your favorite street-style stars. This trend was continued in the Spring/Summer '18 shows too. Coach, Jeremy Scott - they all had glitter shoes blinding the ramp.

So how do you take your outfit from fab to drab in a millisecond? The answer has been made clear, hasn't it? It's with the glitter shoe trend.

From Gigi Hadid, to Victoria Beckham, all the biggest celebs are wearing this shoe trend. From boots to sneakers to mules. Expect glitter to be everywhere.

So how do you wear this trend? SInce it's the most "statement-y" piece ever, you need to go basic and minimal with your clothes - so that you can wear it in your everyday look.

For fall, wear your glitter loafers with a pair of pants and a military jacket and keep it extremely minimal, just like Karishma Kapoor.

For winters, a pair of jeans with an oversized knit and a pair of glitter booties and ta-da! You're set.

If you want to go all out and blind people with all the sparkle, wear over-the-knee glitter boots with an LBD and you're party ready!

If at all you think this trend is too much for you, you can still be on top of this trend by wearing a pair of glitter pumps or pumps with some embellishments. Win-win!
