There's a reason why these hoops are back in trend. It's because Zeenat Aman wore them. Everything we put our hands on, she has been there, done that already. Her retro frames became iconic after she wore them in Dev Anand's Hare Rama Hare Krishna. The red bindi and winged eyeliner also became a part of her trademark look.
We are not the first generation obsessing over fringes. Her fringed sling and collared shirt with shimmery pants is everything. Zeenat Aman was confident in whatever she wore and a lot of trends became iconic simply because she wore them.
Needless to say, the 70s were a great time and we have Zeenat Aman to thank for that. Happy birthday!
