Indian television's popular star Hina Khan has come a long way from playing the role of Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai to being everyone's favourite contestant in reality show Big Boss and now, featuring in a short film called Smart Phone where she is seen "wearing a completely new character." Her recent Instagram post, wherein the actress seems to have donned the role of a conservative Indian woman (much unlike her glamorous image), has everyone wondering about the storyline of the short film.
After quitting Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in 2016 (being a part of it for eight years), the actor was determined to break out of her stereotype image by exploring different and challenging roles. It definitely seems like she has managed to do just that.
In her post, she wrote, "...As an actor we get to add one more phase, Versatility! I created an image by doing a role for 8 years then broke out of the stereotype image I had and tried to look different and versatile.. but my first love will always be acting and here's another chance Whr m wearing a completely new character to prove my versatility as an actor..."

Well, it's not just in her acting where we get to see her versatility. Hina's style statements too reflect that she is not afraid to try different looks. She can carry a saree with as much style and ease as she does when she wears chic casuals. The star made all heads turn when she wore a stylish Satya Paul saree to receive the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Excellence Award for Best Entertainer - Television.
And looked ever so graceful in a Kanjeevaram saree by Arpitha Raj Randeep that she wore at the Dubai Fashion League.
Everytime she wears a dress, she makes it look like it's a must-have for the season. In this Nikhita Tandon creation, she looks like a dream.
And party ready in this off shoulder, black and white Atsu dress.
She even makes a simple denim dress look trendy.
As well as track pants and tee.
