In our quest to make our living spaces more beautiful, a lot of things have been suggested - from accent furniture to mirrors to indoor plants. And then there are fairy lights, a great way to add some style and personality to your room. These twinkly little things that add such a warm color to the room are cheap, easy to light, and does wonders to make any kind of room beautiful.
Small space, add a fairy light. Large space, add a fairy light. White walls or coloured? Add a fairy light. They work not just as a source of light but also as a source of good vibes.
So if you are wondering how to go about it, here are some things you can do.
Make a statement piece of your own
This is recommended only for a medium sized to large room. Get a mirror, or an old distressed chair, or an old ladder - really anything that is a little old, a little distressed and can be a standalone piece of art in your room. Wrap the fairy lights around it and you are good to go.
The saying on the wall
Got a mojo word, or a mantra? How about spelling it on the wall with a string of fairy lights. And when you switch them on, the inspiration shines right at you.
The bed frame all lit up
Bedside lamps are passe; how about some bed frame lights that look like a bunch of fireflies behind you? They look cute, and also work as a night light.
...or simply strung across the room
Simple, easy, and just as beautiful. Just get some and twirl them on the wall across the bed, or the wall behind.
