And no, we don't mean the plaid shirts we all turn to when we want to be dressed down and comfortable. Here are the three rules of wearing checks you should always remember:
Rule 1: Mix checks and stripes for a fabulous outfit.
The two favourite classics you can never go wrong with. Checks and stripes in the same colour combination go together better than florals and spring. Don't be afraid of looking too 'loud' and opt for black and white pieces to get used to the idea.
