If you grew up in the 60s and beyond, you probably knew your way around a dollhouse. Featuring multi-tiered floors, tiny kitchens complete with pans and miniature dressing tables, we grew up with Barbie as the leggy blonde doll pottered her way through her house, living through our fantastical story plots. And if that sums up any part of your childhood, you'll be pleased to know that everybody's favourite Barbie is coming to life on the big screen next year. Warner Bros released a first look of Hollywood actress Margot Robbie who will be essaying the titular role in the movie. One look and you'll see that Margot truly looks like everybody's favourite doll come to life.

Barbie's fashion sense always had tinges of nostalgia running through it and that seems to be the case now as well. Margot as Barbie can be seen seated in the doll's trademark pink convertible car as she breaks into a laugh. She is wearing a retro themed polka dot hairband with her blonde hair in a thick side swept fringe and long locks worn in styled waves. Margot wore a blue and white printed halter top with a matching bracelet, which contrasted the pink tones of the car and the background as well.
Ryan Gosling is cast as Ken in the movie opposite Margot, making us want to put it on our watch list even more. With style as true to Barbie as possible, we can't wait to see this play out on the big screen.
