When in doubt about what to pick out from a wardrobe, Yami Gautam sees only one shade. And if you thought it was pristine white or classic black, you couldn't be more wrong. It's red. While she may not have explicitly said that to us, we're inferring from her Instagram pictures that red is probably Yami's top choice for clothing from the colour wheel. Along with a red heart describing her look, Yami struck a pose for a vintage-esque look in a red Raw Mango saree. Tiny gold embroidered details punctuated the outfit and she wore the dupatta draped over her head. Red bangles added traditional charm to her ensemble while her minimal jewellery lent their own elegant gleam to the outfit. Bronze washed lids and a deep red lip rounded it off gorgeously.
But it isn't only ethnic wear that brings out Yami at her most rouge. A flouncy red dress could do that just as well too. Her mermaid style gown featured a ruffled hem at mid-length along with oversized red exaggerated sleeves. Layered gold necklaces were the metallic gleam this outfit required with her red heels to match.

Earlier this year, she showed us she was serious when it came to picking red tones. Her flowing red gown featured a fitted bodice and fluid sleeves with lovely hemline that looked like it was almost made of liquid. Paired with radiant skin and her hair styled in curls, Yami made sure this one was the winner.
