Bella Hadid needs no introduction. At just 21, she's already a world renowned model who has walked for design houses like Chanel and Versace. She's also the face of brands like Nike, Tag Heuer and Dior. Along with all of that, she's one third of the famous Hadid model siblings alongside Anwar and Gigi. To sum it up, fashion runs through her blood. But we aren't only talking about her runway career.

Even when she's off the ramp, the looker knows how to make waves with her distinct sense of style. This usually consists of the ingredients of any good off-duty model look. Skinny black tights, cropped sweatshirts and obviously, Nike sneakers. Sometimes, a sparkly dress for a night out. But in Tokyo recently, her style took a rather preppy turn with coquettish look that's very unlike Bella.

She was spotted wearing a cream and red checked mini dress from Alaia which showed off her pins and paired this with a black watch, nude socks and red platform brogues. And it didn't stop there. Giving the outfit its complete school girl charm was Bella's dark hair worn in a half ponytail with her fringe parted down the middle and glossy red lips.

High school vibes, anyone? We think so too. Or at least it's the school uniform many of us wished we could wear back then. It's a pleasant surprise to see Bella in a frothy look that's so far beyond her usual style sensibilities. Truly a style chameleon, this one.

But that's not all. In a strange turn of events, an Instagram account going by the name of Rebekka Harajuku has cropped up. The snaps posted are of Bella in a blonde bob-cut wig with tinted sunnies and a beret taking up the sights and sounds of Japan. The account has already raked up over 20,000 followers and is thought to be Hadid's alter ego.

Well, let's keep our eyes peeled and see if this leads to more stylish outings from the Hadid girl, which will probably include a blonde wig this time around.
