Janhvi Kapoor might be busy with the promotions for Mr And Mrs Mahi, but her focus on fashion has never wavered. The star's promotional campaign for the film is proof of that. She has openly embraced the method dressing trend which is essentially dressing in alignment with a theme. Janhvi plays a cricketer in Mr And Mrs Mahi and her outfits cleverly incorporate elements of the game into her ensembles. For one such appearance turned to the luxury label Antithesis. The actress chose a crepe white collared shirt, tucked into a green silk mini skirt. The star of the look however was the bejewelled overlay that she wore on the skirt. According to stylist Ami Patel, Janhvi Kapoor is "glamourising cricket like never before" by wearing a "crystallized skirt, inspired by cricket nets, reimagined atop a green silk base symbolizing the playing field". That, quite definitely, has never been done before.
Janhvi paired the chic fit with a delicate cricket ball-themed golden bracelet, multi-tiered necklace, and studs, all filled with cricket-related detailing. Rosy-glam makeup and open-wavy hair sealed Janhvi's sporty yet feminine avatar.

In another round of promotions, Janhvi Kapoor draped herself in a red and white striped saree from Torani. The asymmetrical-patterned ethnic number was bordered with intricate lines. Woven along the edges of the saree piping were season balls used by cricket players. Janhvi paired the vibrant silhouette with a halter-neck red blouse. Ruby-diamond earrings matched well with the outfit. For makeup, the diva leaned on dewy-blushed cheeks, maroon lipstick, kohl-rimmed eyes, mascara-coated lashes, and shimmery lids. Tresses left loose framed her face beautifully.
Hold up, the cricket-inspired outfit game is still on. For another event, Janhvi Kapoor did justice to her Mr and Mrs Mahi character by wearing a white blouse, adorned with red and blue stripes around the collar and sleeves. She teamed up the cropped number with a long pleated skirt in a similar white shade. Tiny red cricket balls were printed throughout their skirt's length.
