Our obsession with Kajol, which began during the era of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, never came to an end. In all these years, not only has she stunned us with her unparalleled talent in acting, but has also mesmerised us with her various fashion looks, including, and especially, her looks in sarees. In a new Instagram post, the actress shared a gorgeous photo of herself draped in six yards of pure glamour and grace — it's a peach-coloured silk saree with a subtle print all over. Her blouse is a sleeveless one that lends simplicity to this beautifully minimal look. Her accessories of choice, however, are a pair of bold and stunning jhumkas. Her hair shows off her natural curls, and her makeup is nude and minimal with a peach lip colour to match. Kajol's caption says it all — “One more from the beloved series... sorry saree.”
Swirlster Picks Sarees For Women
This post is a throwback to the photoshoot that she had posted previously as well, on her Instagram, saying how much she missed wearing sarees. Her daughter, Nysa, did the honours of clicking her pictures. Her best photographer we'd say. See the pictures for yourself. Wouldn't you agree?
If you want to get a better look at the drape and print of the saree, so you can go get something similar in your next shopping spree, this picture might help.
Kajol has always been the queen of breath-taking saree looks. You'll know what we mean when you see her Dussehra look donning a white saree with pink and yellow accents, paired with a magnificent golden blouse and jhumkas, her hair tied in a bun.
If you're looking for inspiration for your saree looks, or sarees to gift a loved one, Kajol's Instagram is the place to go to. For example, who knew even a simple monochrome red saree could look so bold and so stunning? Kajol did, but did we? Probably not.
Which of Kajol's saree looks is your favourite? Let us know in the comments.
