When you expect to see a Bollywood celebrity, you'd think they'd only wear the latest collections and trendiest attire. But that's not always the case, at least not as far as Kareena Kapoor is concerned. For a fashion fundraiser Baradari with Namrata Zakaria, the Bollywood actress posed wearing a traditional salwar kameez from Anita Dongre. The outfit is a pastel pink toned kurta set with a matching dupatta and bottoms which features hand embroidery and sparkling detailing around the yoke. Kareena wore wedge kolhapuris from Aprajita Toor with the ethnic outfit, her wavy locks swept to the side and a radiant makeup look to match. No matter what trend is in vogue, traditional classics certainly aren't going anywhere.

Another recent ethnic outing from the Bollywood star saw her don yet another salwar kameez suit, this time in sunny yellow. For a shoot, Kareena wore a Ridhi Mehra anarkali suit which featured long sleeves and glimmering silver embellishment. With her hair pulled back into a high ponytail and a glittering choker and earring set to add glam.
And when she wasn't in ethnic wear, Kareena didn't fail to shine either. She looked positively brilliant in a bright red wrap dress with long sleeves that she paired with a defined eye makeup look and sleek hair.
There was also the time she scored high on the trend meter when she opted for a Mickey Mouse printed Gucci bodysuit tucked into her jeans with a layered necklace and stack of bracelets.
