No one can beat timeless beauty Karisma Kapoor when it comes to fashion. The Dil Toh Pagal Hai actress cast a spell with her uber-chic look when she turned muse to fashion designer Ranna Gill at the Lakme Fashion Week. The actress picked a gorgeous outfit from the designer's latest collection “Casa dei Fiori,” which shows an amalgamation of effervescent hues and exquisite textures crafted into elegant silhouettes with a contemporary sensibility. Karisma dazzled in a beautiful gown featuring multi-coloured printed designs in blue, red, yellow and white shades all over. The plunging neckline and colourful floral embellishments at the bodice added more charm to her OOTD. The backless ensemble came with a belt-like detail cinched at the waist followed by frills and pleat patterns below the waist. Entirely covered with sparkling sequins, the attire looked amazing. Karisma didn't stop there. She built the look further by adding a colourful heavily embellished and sequined golden blazer on top. The actress wore kohl-rimmed eyes, contoured cheeks and a nude shade on the lips. Her hair was neatly pulled back.
Some colours can never let you down. Take, for instance, the pickle green shade. Here's Karisma Kapoor impressing us all in a breathtaking Anarkali. The Banarasi silk crushed number from the shelves of Punit Balana showed golden embroidery. Karisma wore it with matching churidar pants and a hand embroidery dupatta. All she needed was a pair of golden kolhapuri flats to add finesse to her traditional look. With dangler earrings, kohl-rimmed eyes, contoured cheeks and nude glossy lips, she was good to go.
Why restrict yourself to purely traditional or western, when you can play around a bit and create a contemporary look? See how Karisma Kapoor did it so effortlessly. Once, the diva tried on a lovely blush pink three-piece attire from Anamika Khanna. The outfit looked like a saree teamed with a blouse and a jacket-style cape on top. Karisma also added a belt to make it more appealing. Her traditional dangler earrings and bangles worked like icing on the cake. She kept it simple in terms of makeup and tied her mane in a low ponytail.
This spring season, go for some brilliant floral looks. If you don't know where to start, refer to Karisma Kapoor's fashion diaries. She, once, treated us to a nice pantsuit set with colourful twists. She went for a chic blazer-style peplum with stunning coordinated pants. The OOTD featured heavy floral embroidery in the different shades of green, pink, orange, blue, lavender and white on the base colour black. Makeup? Check. Hair? Check.
