Actress Mouni Roy tied the knot with her longtime beau Suraj Nambiar in an intimate ceremony in Goa on January 27. The ever-stylish bride and groom aced their looks for all the wedding ceremonies. After the nuptials, the duo made their first public appearance as they were papped at the Mumbai airport in their ethnic best. As a new bride, Mouni picked a gorgeous red Benarasi silk saree paired with a sleeveless blouse. Her brocade saree had broad borders and gold floral embroidery work all over with tassel embellishments on the pallu. Mouni chose to accessorise with a dainty gold chain, heavy golden jhumkas and rings. For makeup, she stayed true to her signature kohl-rimmed eyes, dark brows and a dash of nude shade on her lips. She kept her hair open. Suraj Nambiar looked perfect in a pristine white silk kurta pyjama set and completed his look with black sunglasses.
As a fashionista, Mouni Roy has always given us major styling goals. And all her wedding looks are a sight for sore eyes. For the sangeet, Mouni slipped in a golden ensemble. Her heavily embellished lehenga had sequins and intricate thread work. She matched it with a full-sleeved blouse. Alongside, she carried a mesh dupatta that had golden boti embroidery. Her traditional wear was accompanied by heavy jewellery, which included a necklace and maang tika. Mouni styled her hair in curls.
For her Bengali style wedding ceremony, Mouni Roy dazzled in a classic red Sabyasachi lehenga. For the evening ceremony, her handwoven matka silk bridal lehenga had fine tilla work and embroidered zardozi borders. Her lehenga included a customised veil that was adorned with kiran at the hem. Mouni completed the look with traditional jewellery, including neckpiece, earrings, maang tika, bangles and rings. With heavy eye makeup, dark brows, mascara-laden eyelashes and tinted lips, she was good to go. Suraj Nambiar wore an ivory micro-quilted silk sherwani with a muga silk shawl with marori embroidery borders and a Kota silk safa. His ethnic wear had the iconic Sabyasachi handcrafted gold-plated Bengal Tiger buttons.
Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar also got married as per Malayali rituals. For this, Mouni was dressed in a crisp white saree with broad red borders and gold-woven patterns. She paired it with a red and gold blouse. Her bridal jewellery consisted of gold necklaces, bangles, head accessories and a waist chain. Mouni added gajra in her hair and looked breathtakingly beautiful. Suraj opted for a gold toned kurta with a white lungi for this ceremony.
Mouni Roy made heads turn in a contemporary outfit for her mehendi ceremony. With henna in her hands, she chose to flaunt a bright yellow fusion outfit that consisted of a fancy blouse along with a long skirt. Her blouse had intricate work, shell detailing and the skirt had embellishments. Mouni accentuated her looks with a traditional maang tika with dangler earrings.
We hope to see more jaw-dropping looks of the duo in the future.
