Parineeti Chopra has a penchant for tone-on-tone, and her sartorial picks for her wedding made that crystal clear. The actress was a Manish Malhotra bride and Bollywood's favourite designer didn't disappoint. After getting a glimpse of her various bridal ensembles throughout wedding festivities, Manish Malhotra revealed that Parineeti's wedding reception saree was actually meant to be red, instead of the glimmering blush pink she ended up in. In his Instagram post featured Parineeti's reception look, Manish wrote, "Creating the Rosette Blush crystal sequin saree for the gorgeous @parineetichopra was a thought that came up in our discussions at my Mumbai Atelier .. All along we are talking about a red saree for the cocktail after wedding celebrations and then came in the thought of going chic and yes the new #mmveil incorporating with the saree and the necklace with uncut diamonds and light coloured unique emeralds and the statement ring to complete the look. Classic, regal on gorgeous #parineetichopra and the perfect look with @raghavchadha88 making them a dreamy beautiful couple .."
As per Manish's description, Parineeti's reception started out with the idea of being red; a classic shade for Hindu weddings. The end result was completely different however, as Parineeti stuck to her favoured pastels. The actress wore a rosette blush crystal sequin saree with contrasting golden borders. It came with a gorgeous Manish Malhotra veil; a graceful tulle cape, inspired from the designer's Bridal Collection 2023. On her neck is Manish Malhotra's Mehr necklace with diamonds and Russian emerald drops. Also on Parineeti were uncut diamond earrings and rings with emeralds and diamonds from the designer. Don't miss out on her matching chooda that she has been showcasing ever since.
Last week, Parineeti Chopra graced the runway at Lakme Fashion Week 2023. Her saree look for designer label Faabiiana was nothing short of pastel perfection. The ivory saree was beautifully adorned with embellished borders. Pairing with the drape with a short-sleeved blouse. The embellished cape transformed her into an Indian princess. Her light pink chooda and the bright red sindoor perfectly gave off newlywed vibes. To complete the look, a multi-layer diamond necklace added a touch of luxury to the star's runway-ready saree avatar.
Not too long ago, she wore a black satin saree designed by Manish Malhotra. The glistening gold borders of the drape added a touch of bling to her look. To complement the saree, Parineeti selected a velvet blouse, featuring full sleeves, a round neckline, and playful tassels around the borders of the sleeves. With a traditional necklace and poker-straight hair, she epitomised grace and elegance.
We can't wait to see more of Parineeti Chopra's saree-torial looks.Comments
