Power dressing has been getting major love with pantsuits becoming the favourite pick among celebs world over. Talk about suiting up, and our leading ladies of Bollywood surely know how to dress to impress. So when it came to making a mark at the World Economic Forum 2020 at Davos, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone not only caught everyone's attention with their powerful speeches, but also notched up the style quotient by taking to power dressing like a boss. While we have seen pantsuits come in all shades and shapes, both Priyanka and Deepika opted for the all-time favourite black to make a statement.
Black is indeed turning out to be the favourite pick among millennials - from party wear and showstopping red carpet looks to everyday style and even power dressing. So to channel major boss lady vibes, Deepika Padukone opted for a black pantsuit by Gauchere and layered it up with a luxe black overcoat by Prada for a fierce suit on suit look. She teamed it with a pair of black pointed toe heels by Louboutin and carried a chic box handbag to complete her look.
And since diamonds are a girl's best friend, Deepika Padukone sparked up her pantsuit look with diamond jewellery to prove that even when it comes to power dressing, a dose of sparkles is always right. With her hair tied back in a bun and barely-there-makeup except for those statement cateye, she was an absolute stunner.
At WEF 2020, Priyanka Chopra too was spotted in a black paintsuit. At Davos, she made a chic case for black with not one but two looks. First in a black pantsuit with a high neck top, and then in a black co-ord set. While we loved her second look, her black pantsuit look fell pale in comparison to Deepika Padukone's high glamour look. It was rather too simple, considering PC has always been a headturner wherever she goes.
