The Chak De! India star, Sagarika Ghatge, was in love with a cricketer in the film - and now in real life too, she actually got married to a cricketer. This cricketer is none other than Zaheer Khan. We've always found her extremely gorgeous and she always seems to be glowing - especially since her bae asked her to marry him. The lovebirds were all smiles when they announced their engagement earlier this year. You have to see the gorgeous ring, and oh, her outfits were all that we women dream of! She wore Sabyasachi twice. Yes girls, twice. She is one bride who has charmed everyone with her sheer simplicity and elegance.
Posing for a selfie, the two look so cute together. We can't take our eyes off that ring.
1. Court Marriage
On their wedding ceremony, which was a court marriage strictly for family and close friends, she wore a subtle red Sabyasachi saree with a heavy embroidered blouse and some beautiful silver jewellery.
2. The After-Party
For the after party that the couple had thrown soon after they tied the knot, Sagarika wore a Faabiiana peach coloured gota patti lehenga with some silver jewellery and pearls. So simple and so chic. Zaheer Khan was wearing a black bandhgala by Raghavendra Rathore.
3. Mehendi
For the Mehendi, Sagarika donned a mint green Anita Dongre lehenga with jewels also from the designer. There is no doubt that she looks stunning. With hair tied into a ponytail, she made sure that her hair didn't trouble her while she got her mehendi put. Keeping it messy yet made up is the way to go!
4. Sangeet
For the sangeet, the bride looked drop dead gorgeous in a custom-made grey Falguni Shane Peacock ensemble. We are in love with the colour. Who would have thought one could wear a grey outfit to their own wedding. And to top it off, she added some jewellery made with rubies and diamonds, which just brought out the colour of the lehenga so much more.
5. The Reception
For the grand reception that just took place last night, Sagarika wore another Sabyasachi lehenga. Her gorgeous husband wore a blue bandhgala by Raghavendra Rathore. Don't they just look so ethereal?
CommentsThe two of them met through a mutual friend last year and have been inseparable ever since. We wish you a very happy married life, lovebirds.
