Ever since our textile minister Smriti Irani has tweeted about Indian handlooms on the 1st of August, it's become a very hot trend on social media. Some of our favourite stars have totally been supporting the handloom trend and have been spotted wearing a lot of handlooms in the past few months. Design maestro, Sanjay Garg, the mastermind behind Raw Mango which has been spotted on a lot of celebs including Deepika and Alia, seems to be a hot favourite with Bollywood stars. From film promotions to Diwali parties, his designs can be spotted everywhere!
Absolutely loving the vibrant colours here. Alia gives us the courage to wear such a deadly combination. Thank you Alia!
Deepika wore this gold and white saree for one of the promotional events for Padmavati, doesn't she look like a goddess?
We love the florals and bright pink, they really add a beautiful glow to Neha Dhupia!
It's so refreshing to see Esha Gupta in traditional attire - and brownie points for it being one of Sanjay Garg's designs. We love the silver touch to the whole look.
This colour suits Malaika so much, we would really like to see more of this colour on her. What we cannot miss, though, is the brocade work on this kurta. We just died and went to brocade heaven.
Kangana Ranaut looks as stunning as always. We are loving the polki with the saree.
That's how you rock a co-ord set in a traditional yet contemporary way. Konkona is slaying the minimal look all the way.
Kajol looks gorgeous in this peacock blue colour. There's just something about silver and blue that has our heart. We wish she had gone with different accessories though.
Simple and chic, as always. Vidya is the queen of solid colour sarees. So why should this be different!
Kareena Kapoor Khan, looking like the royalty that she is. That gajra on her, though - absolutely stunning! Ladies, are you also a big fan of Sanjay Garg's work like these celebrities are? Tell us in the comments section below.
