Celebrity weddings in Bollywood usually see the stars step out in the ethnic finery but only a handful choose to do things a little differently. Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha tied the knot last week with a wedding reception in Mumbai which saw the likes of Esha Gupta, Amyra Dastur and more in attendance. While most chose lehengas and sarees, Sanya Malhotra chose a classic black gown and walked straight into our hearts when she did so. The Bollywood actress was snapped wearing a thin strap black gown which had a halter neckline and ruched sides with a flowing length until the ankle. Over the front of the length was a slit from the bottom until the thigh. Sanya carried a black patterned purse in her hand, wore black pumps on her feet and wore a diamond choker necklace as well as earrings with her dress. Her springy curls were worn loose and she rounded it off with a radiant makeup look. Classic fashion choices always win in our books.

Another one in black from the books is when Sanya picked a black tie-front cropped shirt with a V-neckline which put her torso on display. She wore it with curls in her hair, hoop earrings and a high waist black skirt and needed for nothing more.

In any season, the black dress just does it. So when the weather grew chillier, Sanya slipped into a sleeveless black dress with a cut neckline. Along with a silver chain link choker necklace, her curls flying wild and a dramatic eye, she was sure to steal the show in this one.
