Sisters are a wonderful breed. They may "borrow" your clothes, make your friends their own and infuriate you to no end but they can never be replaced. If there is one thing Bollywood has taught us well, it is that they can also be your fashion ally. Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor often step out together in style; so do Katrina Kaif and Isabella Kaif. This time, it was Malaika Arora and younger sister Amrita Arora. For a dinner date with their families, the B-town sisters arrived looking fabulous and posed for pictures before they left.

Malaika showed off her svelte figure and washboard abs in an all-white ensemble. She wore a ruffled one-shouldered crop top with white jeans. Paired with this were pointed nude pumps and a red, blue and white Gucci clutch. Malaika's makeup look was kept simple with a muted red lip, black eyeliner and low-slung ponytail. Smartly paired and summer chic, this ensemble is perfect for the city's humidity.
Amrita on the other hand, went for a look in the opposite direction. She went for quintessential black, a no-brainer for a night out. Amrita wore a black zippered top with white stripes on the sleeves and paired it with black trousers, white strappy heels and a black Prada bag crossed over her shoulder. Amrita finished it off with a similar shade of red lipstick and a ponytail.
It just goes to show you how different sisters are. They may share the same blood but not necessarily the same style sensibilities. While Malaika chose a summer-ready cropped look in white, Amrita went for a neat over-sized look in black. If there was ever a visual representation of Yin And Yang in fashion, this would probably be it.
