'Sleeping without your bra will make your breasts sag.' It will NOT. It hasn't been scientifically proven - at least, not yet.
But but, think about it, what has science taught us? There's a downward pull of things thanks to gravity. Logically, your breasts would sag because of gravity. But when you're sleeping, you're lying flat - there is no adverse effect of gravity involved. So our mothers might have been wrong about something, finally.
So what else happens to your breasts when you're not wearing your bra while sleeping?
There's a lot of blood circulation which is immensely important for your breasts.
You can definitely avoid irritation as nothing is in your way while sleeping. You're free and nothing keeps poking you. YES, it's very much possible!
Honestly, I believe that whatever you're comfortable in is the best. Bra on or bra off. There are no rules when it comes to comfort!
I personally wouldn't recommend sleeping in an underwired bra. The wire can dig into your skin which can be extremely uncomfortable and harmful. Also, it can hurt your favourite assets, ladies. And, honestly, who likes those strange marks you wake up with when you sleep with an underwired bra?
Wear a sports bra if you feel uncomfortable without a bra while sleeping. It's the best alternative to sleeping with an underwire or a padded bra!
