Attended by only a handful of family members and close friends, the wedding was a sight to behold, thanks to its exotic location -- a plush property in Tuscany, Italy, matched by an equally spectacular decor. The couple announced the news on social media with a careful selection of photographs and we can't wait for more.

But success didn't come suddenly or overnight for Devika. It was preceded by years of hard work. She started her career as a journalist, but her keen eye for design made her soon switch to wedding planning. A few years of working for another firm, led to the birth of Devika Narain & Company in 2014. Together with husband Joseph Radhik, Devika then went on to design some of the nation's most high-profile nuptials, including that of cricketers Robin Uthapa and Dinesh Karthik's.
To be able to pull of the most widely anticipated celebrity wedding of 2017 with great style, while maintaining secrecy right till the end, wedding designer Devika and photographer husband Joseph pulled out all stops -- from visiting the destination numerous times in the year, to springing the news on their very own families only a few hours before, no precaution was too much for the duo.
Both, Virat and Anushka wore ensembles in dusty blush tones, designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The private function took place in Borgo Finocchieto, a lavish spot in Tuscany and the newlyweds were surrounded by a close group of loved ones from both sides of family, along with bhangra dancers and beats of the dhol. The dreamy Italian wedding, executed to perfection by Devika and team, has already upped the ante for other celebrities planning secret weddings in exotic locales!
